What we do

Emphasizing design excellence, ART > ON VIEW provides graphic design and website solutions specifically targeted toward the display and elegant presentation of art images — photography, painting, illustration, ceramics, artisan crafts, sculpture, and video/multimedia, among others.

Who We Are

As Principal of ART > ON VIEW, I Natalie Diffloth work directly with clients to evaluate design needs, propose design concepts, and carry out solutions. I partner with other companies and designers depending upon specific project requirements. I have been working in the design industry since 1993 and hold a degree in Sociology (from Wesleyan University) as well as a degree in graphic design (from the Massachusetts College of Art). Our Clients

ART > ON VIEW clients may be individual artists, or they may be art businesses such as galleries or boutiques. What they share is the goal of bringing greater visibility to their art.

Design Strategy

A straightforward and transparent design philosophy. First and foremost, I believe the role of the design should be to make your art look great. The design should be complementary and flattering to your art style — not conflict or stand in the way.

Custom design, not fixed templated solutions. Whether designing for print or for the web, every design I create is unique and custom-tailored to the specific goals and requirements of my clients. I consider every project on its own terms, and every client as an individual in his or her own right.

Website solutions

Update and manage your own website images: Via a simple-to-use, online administration interface, I provide clients the ability to directly update image and image caption content. No website coding, advanced technical experience or software installation is required. All a client needs is internet access and a current-version web browser. The system I use can accommodate both digital images and video.

Search engine positioning: All websites I create are designed and coded with the goal of optimizing search engine placement. If search engine optimization is important to your business, I would be happy to offer a consultation as part of your web design project.

Print Design

Looking for print design materials? I am happy to accommodate your requests — be it for the design of postcards, posters, brochures, books or catalogs. Read more about our design experience or view our portfolio to see examples.

Pricing

Because ART > ON DESIGN designs each project individually and does not work with preformatted templates, I am unable to offer any "package pricing" for the design work I do. I am, however, happy to provide you with a first consultation, at no cost and without obligation, to evaluate your design needs and to see whether there may be a fit with the services I offer. Please note it is often helpful for me to have a general idea of your budget, since not everything that may be technically feasible is always completely necessary. Once I have a more specific idea of the project scope, I will be able to provide a cost estimate and proposal. Would you like to get a better sense of how I work?
